world ends remix

from Option Paralysis EP by John Wilson

/

about

Jamel Eon is a friend of Julio, who is a fellow rap and comic book nerd, just like me. Shouts out to Slug from Atmosphere. Anyhoo, Jamel wanted me to be on his album titled The Future of Dope Transmissions. Originally, I was to be on one song called Sorry, and i did, and that was dope. He then let me know a week later about how he had one beat that no one touched. i smothered all types of funk on it.

thinking of releasing a compilation myself, i look back on what i've done, and was compelled to do a remix, like a proper remix instead of throwing more miscreants on the same beat. to do it properly, i had to get that lord gamma beat

recorded in one take. what.

lyrics

think of that scene in the matrix where morpheus channels the conviction of furious styles and berserker rage of ike turner to break the cuffs and run to grab hold of neo as he hangs from do choppa. got it? now imagine that done with hoodies and fatigues in a nyc winter around grant's tomb.

there's the lyrics.
